Home Studio Floor Talk with Daegan Wells, Emma Fitts and Megan Brady

Join us at Sir Miles Warren Gallery for a curator tour and conversation alongside Home Studio, a group exhibition exploring the blurred boundaries between domestic and working spaces.

Curator Daegan Wells will lead a walkthrough of the exhibition and speak to the works within it, joined by Ōtautahi-based artists Emma Fitts and Megan Brady.

Extending the exhibition’s consideration of home as a site of creative practice, artists exhibiting in Home Studio have been invited to share images of their own making spaces – studios, kitchen tables, collections of materials, tools, storage spaces, and other everyday environments where work takes shape.

These images will form part of the evening’s discussion, offering further context for the relationship between home, routine, material, and artistic practice explored throughout the exhibition.

Spaces are limited for this free event, register here.

Home Studio is curated by Daegan Wells and features works by Wells, Wendelien Bakker, Sophie Bannan, Megan Brady, Scott Brough, Emma Fitts, Abigail Aroha Jensen, Greg Quinn, Yvonne Rust, Isaac Te Awa, Tyrone Te Waa and Judy McIntosh Wilson.
