FAQs

Where will the Object Book Fair be taking place?

The Object Book Fair will take over the whole of Objectspace at 13 Rose Road, Ponsonby.

How will customers pay?

You will need to organise your own payment methods. If you are accepting cash, make sure to have enough float for change. For bank transfers, make sure you have clear signage with your bank details on it. If you are bringing an EFTPOS machine, make sure it is fully charged before the event.

What will my stall look like?

Objectspace will provide trestle tables and chairs for all stall holders. Stall placements will be allocated by Objectspace. The full tables are around 2400mm long, and 750mm wide, so keep that in mind when planning out your display. You are welcome to bring tablecloths, signage and display devices to personalise your stall. Make sure all books are clearly priced, too.

Do I need to be at the Object Book Fair the entire time?

Someone will need to be looking after your stall for the duration of the Object Book Fair – 11am to 4pm on both Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June, outside of leaving briefly for the wharepaku or to top up your coffee. If you have a colleague or friend who can share cover of the stall while you take a break, that’s great. Unfortunately, Objectspace does not having the staffing capacity to mind your stall for you.

Can I store my books at Objectspace between market days?

Yes, you can leave books on your stall overnight.

Is there parking available at Objectspace?

The Objectspace courtyard will be closed for parking during the Object Book Fair, however, we will be providing time slots for packing-in and out where the carpark will be available. There is plenty of parking available along Rose Road and surrounding streets that is free on weekends.

Should I bring food and drinks?

We will provide coffee, tea, and water – we’d suggest bringing lunch with you! There are plenty of lovely food spots nearby if you need to pop out and buy some – just make sure someone is looking after your stall.

I’m only available for 1 of the 2 days, can I still participate?

Table bookings are for both days, but if you can confirm someone to fill your space on the other day, sure thing!

Please email to express your interest.
