Direct from its New York showing, the TDC66 exhibition World’s Best Typography features an exciting and culturally diverse range of award-winning graphic and type design. TDC66 Auckland comes to Objectspace courtesy of creative agency Osborne Shiwan, with support from Klim Type Foundry.

Collated are winning designs entered into the communications and typeface design competitions of Type Directors Club — an international organisation whose purpose is to build a creative community through events and platforms, to support the growth of students and early-career professionals, and recognise excellence in type design across the world.

The exhibitions derived from TDC’s annual competitions exhibit in major cities around the world, calling on the design industry’s most recognised mentors, creative innovators and thought-leaders for local curatorial leadership.

The posters, publications and motion works on display are brought together for public exhibition to share and provoke new thinking around, and applications of, typography.

Featuring contributions from 56 countries, this short-run exhibition demonstrates a wealth of diversity through language, culture and innovative typographic form.
