You're warmly invited to the opening of Drawing practice: Miles Warren watercolours 1949–2007 at Objectspace Ōtautahi from 5pm on Friday 6 November. The exhibition will run until 13 December 2026.

Sir Miles Warren was a watercolour painter all his life. Drawing was integral to his professional career – he was New Zealand’s most prominent mid-twentieth century architect – and was also a personal passion.

Drawing practice brings together a sample of paintings from across nearly 60 years, illustrating Warren’s life, formidable understanding of building form and profound appreciation of architectural detail.

Celebrate an Ōtautahi icon thanks to Black Estate, Bryterlater, Matter of Time, Parrot Dog, Almighty and Goodsh*t Soda.

We look forward to having you with us.
