Riffing on our current exhibition In the image of the city, we've invited six architects and enthusiasts to offer their plug for parts of Tāmaki Makaurau.
Each speaker will take the stage to share their reflections on a suburb of their choosing – with only 10 minutes and 10 slides to spend.
Your speakers are:
· Jade Kake – Architect, director of Matakohe Architecture and Urbanism, writer and academic
· Oscar Mardell – Writer (clue: author of ‘Delirious New Lynn; or, Portage and Euphoria; or, The Carryover’) and educator
· Raphaela Rose – Architect and director of ahha
· Salene Schloffel-Armstrong – Geographer and postdoctoral researcher at both UOA and Lincoln
· Stuart Houghton – Urban designer, landscape architect and partner at Boffa Miskell
· One (or two) more to be announced!
