This week a crowd of design lovers gathered at Objectspace for the sold out 2025 edition of Design Lives HERE, our special event with Here Magazine presented by Cemac Commercial Interiors. 

In talking about their adored and coveted objects, our speakers shared stories of small habits, big trips, career paths and loved ones – all illustrating the impact of design on how we live, and who we are.

We learnt that sometimes the best place for your favourite object is on your person at all times, that one (not more) taxidermied vermin is a great birthday present, and that if you see a purple Shona McFarlane painting you should speed dial Miriama Kamo immediately. And much more.

Our thanks to MC Simon Farrell-Green for his smooth operation and to our brilliant speakers – all heartfelt and hilarious – Murray Crane, Miriama Kamo, Sarosh Mulla and Brynley Stent. Thanks for being HERE with us.

Our cocktail bar was powered by Gin Drinkers Line, and glasses of Black Estate and Bryterlater natural wine floated around the crowd alongside Liberty Brewing beers and Almighty and Good Sh*t fizzy.

We're left wondering if something you've devoured can fall into the favourite object category after trying Cazadogs – thanks to Rebecca and Dariush of Cazador and San Ray.
