Colourful, geometric and crystalline, Jenny Nielson's unique sculptures display a vibrancy that is created by the effect of hundreds of different coloured paper layers. These objects are crafted over weeks, as Nielson carefully builds the sharp layers until the finished object is more like MDF or wood than paper.

Always trying to discover combinations of shape and colour that have a vivid presence in interior spaces, Nielson commits herself to these strange and beautiful objects, each one with it’s own particular scale, form and colouration.
