In this workshop, Frances Joseph and Claudine Nalesu will lead a hands-on demonstration regarding their research into producing bio-based materials. Participants will also learn about their research in the Material Cultures Lab at AUT and tips and techniques for getting started producing your own bio-materials.
This event is part of Material Acts: a two-day event that offers the opportunity for architecture practitioners, students and enthusiasts to join workshops and discussions with those working in material innovation, presented by The AUT Material Cultures Lab.
Breakfast Cooking Show sits within the Material Acts theme of Craft Practices, focusing on how hands-on crafting intersects with the discovery of new material processes.
Hospitality will be provided.
Other Material Acts event sessions are listed on our website and are free and open to all.
