Join Workshop6 for their fifth workshop for budding jewellers. You'll learn basic jewellery skills and finish the session with two copper rings: one for you and one to be added to Workshop6’s installation for the 2024 Courtyard Plinth Commission, Common Element

One of the foundational skills in jewellery making is creating a copper ring. Copper rings have become emblematic of learning jewellery construction and will form the basis of Workshop6’s plinth installation.

This will be an ongoing collaboration between Objectspace and Workshop6 in 2024 so keep a look out for more workshops.

Spaces are limited. We ask that you wear closed shoes on the day and follow the health and satefy instructions of your tutors. This workshop is not suitable for people under 16 years old.

Workshop6 is a working jewellery studio in Grey Lynn Auckland and provides a space for a collective of contemporary jewellers along with classes.
