Join Te Puāwai for a weaving workshop to learn basic weaving techniques and some of the properties for harakeke that make this fibre a taonga.

This workshop accompanies a short-run activation at the gallery, Te Puāwai at Objectspace.

A rōpū of weavers will be working in the gallery over three days to share the history and intricacies of weaving from a Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei perspective.

This workshop is your opportunity for hands-on learning about mātauranga connected to weaving practice and the weaving kaupapa led by Te Puāwai.

Attendance is free and open to all. Register to join us here.
