Please join us to welcome in the exhibition The Chair through a Coffee & Croissants conversation with designers and makers.

This is our biggest C&C lineup yet, including Kennedy Brown, Gerard Dombroski, David Haig, Humphrey Ikin, Josephine Jelicich, Peter Maclean, David Moreland, John Shaw, Colin Slade, Neal Smith, Greg Smith, David Trubridge, Turumeke Harrington and Carin Wilson. Anecdotes guaranteed.

This new design exhibition at Objectspace is not the definitive history of chair design and making in Aotearoa. Instead, it is a story of ad hoc research and discovery, with one chair leading to another – each chosen because they point us to stories that warrant telling and, in many cases, risked going untold.

Join us to hear these stories from the mouths of makers and designers as we walk and talk through the exhibition.

Get your $10 ticket to attend this morning talk on the first day of the exhibition with a coffee & croissant in hand.

Coffee & Croissants is a conversation series supported by our friends at Allpress Espresso and Daily Bread.
