‘What I’m Wearing’ was a social media project that was borne out of the first global lockdown in 2020.
The National’s director, Caroline Billing, began to ask people on Instagram to share what jewellery they were wearing during their days at home.  The result, a series of over 30 posts through April and May 2020.

With the assistance of  Creative New Zealand, The National has published the project in hard copy, with writing by Emma Ng (a revised essay from an article in The Pantograph Punch, 2020).
