Well known ceramic artist and designer, John Parker, has accumulated a substantial collection of ceramic Mao Tse-Tung figurines and busts. Parker's fascination is for the cult of personality and how that is made manifest within this ubiquitous variety of Chinese production. He notes, "Every good communist should have one of these in their house."
