  Proposals

The Artistic Vision that underpins the programme is:

Objectspace presents innovative contemporary and historic work from a number of making traditions that can be contextualised within the discourses of the applied art, craft and design.

The programme is developed through the initiatives of Objectspace and through consideration of proposals that support our Artistic Vision. Objectspace operates three separate programmes:

Gallery Programme
Window Programme
Vault Programme

Decisions regarding these programmes are made by a Programming Committee comprising a sub-committee of Objectspace trustees, the Director and the Programme Co-ordinator

Proposals are accepted twice a year. The next submission dates are:

Monday 31 March 2008

Tuesday 30 September 2008
  Making a Project Proposal

Objectspace welcomes proposals from makers, curators and collectors with projects that relate to the craft and design sector.

If you would like to make a proposal it is important that you download the proposal information below and assess whether your project fits the Objectspace vision and criteria. If you feel your project is well suited for exhibition at Objectspace send us a hard copy proposal which is clear, brief and informative. It is important to include all of the basic information as well as images of the work you intend to exhibit and a detailed description of the installation.

If you have any questions or require more detailed information regarding the space or facilities then please feel free to contact us on info@objectspace.org.nz
