An exhibition focusing on the textile works of emerging artist Quishille Charan, which traces her experience of migration from Fiji to New Zealand as a young child in early 2001 to her first return home in January 2016.

Grounded in her relationship with her extended female family members and the exchange of making skills continued long distance via contemporary communication platforms, Quishille's practice interweaves her own and her family's personal, artistic and political histories with the textures of traditional materials and motifs.
