By moving through object making practices I have reinterpreted historically innovative Louis Comfort Tiffany art jewellery designs by creating felt embroidered objects and placing them in an installation setting.

Each piece within the installation is a monument and is viewed in a gallery context rather than an article for personal adornment. The embroidered stitch, i.e. (raised cup stitch, satin stitch padded), reinterprets Tiffany's semi-precious and precious stones (opals, sapphires and garnets), presenting the viewer with conflated concepts that deal with the embroidered stitch and Tiffany's jewels.
